The Trump administration is selling weapons to European countries for an added profit. A top official has suggested that the money could finance American air cover for Ukraine as part of future security guarantees.
"Right now, we are selling arms to the Europeans, who are then selling them on to the Ukrainians," Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent said in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday.

Donald Trump used the phrase "air support", not "air cover," to describe a potential U.S. role in a post-war security guarantee for Ukraine.
Trump and the White House did not provide further details on what the "air support" would entail, which could range from missile defense systems to enforcing a no-fly zone, but I'm guessing more like logistical support of flying weapons they bought from us (at a higher markup) to their delivery points in Europe.
Trump doesn't want to do anything that Putin can interpret as interfering directly.

While I appreciate the lack of censorship at this site, if I had my way I would nuke naked links before they get posted, and possibly investigate a way to send 10,000v of electricity down the internet to the keyboard of someone who does that.

Not that it’s any of your business, but I will tell you that I had an absolute “Father Knows Best” “Leave It To Beaver” “Donna Reed Show” “Ozzie & Harriet” 1950’s upbringing. I have often contrasted my childhood with that of Mrs. Goofy, who had a quite dysfunctional era with a mother who was mentally unstable and endlessly withholding. I am one of four, and the oldest, if it matters.
I will say that your arm chair analysis of me is about as good as your armchair economic analyses, which is to say completely verklempt. I find your many posts like a blind squirrel searching for an acorn. Occasionally you find one, but it’s not often enough to make it worthwhile.
