I love seeing Fox News broadcasting from the fair, its hosts claiming the place is filled with excited patriots while the scenes behind them show a vast expanse of untrod-upon grass with an occasional few humans milling along the fringes.
Fox has gotten the memo, and they have returned to the safe environs of their studios, where they don’t have to show the empty spaces and empty places live nonstop for hours upon hours at a time. Now they can huddle a few people together, stick a camera 10 feet away for an “live update” and pretend “it’s a crowd!”
I must say there are some people at Fox who must have though this would be a *terrific* chance to show America what kind of support Trump was getting, and I also must say “They were right.”
