I follow it since 1-2 years and if I remember correctly every time when it entered that zone the S&P went down from there.

Does anybody has a link to a longer term chart of the CNN index? As that index value is in accordance with my gut feeling ("be careful when others are greedy") I am tempted to buy puts on the Index and/or the mighty 7, but want to have a look at the correlation for more years back.
