well, the 'cheering' is because examples are being set on how not to waste time on trump. run the nation for the benefit to most citizens rather than a publicity seeking kleptocracy.
plus, the plan is tough but rational...unheard of by MAGA. just buy canadian-made at every opportunity; no other dialog needed.
and very few countries have this option, much less take it up.
