IMO, it's a choice between "Tech with High Growth" and "High Growth". For the same reason that AMZN is now classified as Internet Retail, not Software, MELI is classified Broadline Retail. TechGrowers was mostly modeled after Saul circa 2018/19, which was mostly "software" but even then had SHOP, things like TTD, ended up with UPST etc. And now the SaaS market has matured along with the end of Covid's impacts, and hi sales growth by itself is going to get tougher in a maturing market - so an industry-specific screen requiring over 30% growth is probably going to come up with diminishing # of candidates.
