the productivity of businesses with products such as this often gets pulled away from the founding business and into the overall system quite quickly.

So you think their AI loan qualification will be more or less replicated by banks, car dealers, other businesses like Upstart willing to do it cheaper, etc ... and their head start and accumulated data will be an ephemeral advantage?

Something to think about, thanks. What examples of 'businesses with products such as this' would you offer that have seen their edge quickly whittled away?
