Seems like a completely appropriate allocation of funds to me. Sure, you might disagree with the general idea of allocating federal funds to decarbonize homes and apartments. But that's Congress' call - and once Congress appropriated money to pursue that goal, awarding it to this particular organization makes a ton of sense. Regardless of what "links" it might have to a Democrat. (NB - if an article casts aspersions on a group because it is "linked" to a despised person, rather than any specific role that person plays in the organization, it's usually a sign that they're reaching).
