BTW, since you didn't care to mention it, there were eleven news people who were beat up too.

I did not know that, having not followed the details of the investigation/prosecution process.

It's not surprising though, since a standard feature of Trump's kayfabe is the pointing out of “the fake news media” taunting and insulting them with childish insults, and encouraging his audience to do the same.

It's the 'pro-wrestling' formula and it works well with Trump's cult.

Pure kayfabe: Trump good, MAGA good, journalists baaaaaaaad.
