Apparently, I missed the part of the Gov's speech, where he expressed compassion and empathy. Isn't it ironic that Kirk ridiculed those concepts?

I never thought I’d see the day when not only a fundamental value of most faith traditions, but also of most societies was ridiculed as “woke”.

If empathy is “woke”, then I’m woke and proud of it.
