cnbc.com - Microsoft reveals maia AI chip will use it in house

- Microsoft said its new Maia 200 artificial intelligence chip offers 30% higher performance than alternatives for the same price.

- The company has started to make them available in U.S. data centers.

- An internal Microsoft AI team will use the chips, as will the Microsoft 365 Copilot for commercial clients, with wider availability to come.

All of these new chips are headwinds for NVIDIA...
