I rarely read the details of news any more.

So cursory headline-ing says that the RFK and others in the "anti vax" tribe have decided no shots. It seems they'll allow it for older people, and people with certain conditions.

So in a sick way - lol - maybe for once having a condition that I do (digestive autoimmune) + asthma for Wifey....we'll be allowed to get shots.

Sadly that might leave out kids.

Anyone know -- does 'no shots' simply mean that Uncle Sam or HMO's don't have to discount it or pay for it?

Is an American adult allowed to still walk into the usual clinic and say "gimme a Covid shot"---and just pay the freight out of pocket?

I don't like government forcing me to DO something, and I don't appreciate government having power over me to NOT get this shot either.

I swear if it was Michelle Obama doing this, or the dumb ass messing with soda and junk food stuff----the Right would've been going crazy ---and we rightfully did. but now it's our caste in charge so somehow we're good with all this.

Ugh, the third world tribalism I warned of and mostly laugh about seems to be affecting me on this isolated issue.

We got ever Covid/Flu shot each year. I did measles also. If people want to skip the shots - cool - they're business. IF people want to skip the shots ---- and it doesn't work out - -ok, some Red-leaning Welfare Queens that probably aren't helping society much at all are out of the picture - works for me too.

See I can find silver linings.
