The claim is that they're addictive and contribute to school shootings.

Nearly 45 million Americans are on an antidepressant of some sort...Odds are good that someone in your family or friend group are currently on them. This could become a real problem if they are banned.

Contribute to school shootings? I'd think that being depressed is a cause of more school shootings than being on anti-depressants. But I suppose there must be studies that Kennedy is citing that support his claim? (Says I after not having investigated further...)
