If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

if they cannot WIN what they want via the voting booth, they will DAMN SURE ensure the actual winners won't get what they want either. And the system provides ample tools to make good on such threats. - ges

This was certainly the case for the early years of the Trump Admin. The fanatical opposition started even during the election and rose up to resist and block his presidency in every way possible starting on day 1. And now that he has evolved into Hitler, any measure necessary is justified to stop him before he can abolish our democracy.
