Isn't Deutschbank testifying? So Trump made misrepresentations to a bank for a loan, and the bankk is a bad guy for not doing due diligence. Yes, the bank should do due diligence, but they're not the bad guy and that is just a distraction and whataboutism. Both can be very effective so this will make some headway, but not enough to sway those who have their doubts aboutTtrump.
Besides that, the loan documents submitted by Trump included verbiage to the effect that estimates are not to be relied on for underwriting and potential lenders should do their own due diligence.
So let me see, someone thinks you can submit financial statements to a bank for them to rely on for a loan and stick a disclaimer on them that they shouldn't be relied upon,, and that flies.
