Yeah, I've got the complete sets. One or two of my discs went bad pretty early on. I complained, and they actually replaced them. Haven't viewed them in years, so I have no idea how many are bad.
I watch mine every few years. Every time through, I find another one is gone. On the last playing, about 2 years ago, a third disc in Season 1, and three in Season 5, were bad. These discs had all played perfectly maybe 5-6 years earlier.
On top of that, I watched my "Band of Brothers" box set the same year. Two discs are now failing in that set too.
I fired off an e-mail to Warner customer service last week, about the Band of Brothers set, when I found out they are making some attempt to make this right. Have not heard back yet.
Of course, now Warner is wrapped up in the merger with Paramount, so I don't expect the concerns of we Proles to be given any regard.
