Laws aren't created until things happen that bring about the need for them.
I think we can't make laws for everything, and what is very significant is the few laws we did have designed for this seem gutted by the courts and placing toadies in charge of government offices. I see nothing but destruction in individual lives happening. We're going to have some bad decisions, but the important thing is to recognize them and fix them as best we can in the sausage factory called Congress. The sausage factory has delegated some of its power out because it's stuck playing politics.
I have my hands full just trying to understand what is going on around me and deal. There's plenty I don't understand. Fortunately I foresaw ACA subsidies getting cut, moved my wife off of ACA, and shortly I'll sign us up for a dental plan during open season. I hadn't run into mercenary dental until recently, but I knew it existed. I'm sympathetic with folks trying to deal with healthcare and i like how Norway uses an oil company to help defray costs. Let's do that!
We've got all these Federal lands, let's make a profit off of them and subsidize healthcare with it. All we seem to do is subsidize billionaires, and they have oversize power in Washington - look at Emo, err... Elon. :) If Norway can do it, we can too - and they're white - so we can tout it's a white tribal idea, not communism, and relieves corporations of part of the burden of healthcare. I still remember my father speaking against socialized medicine and it turns out that was a line from the AMA at the time.
