When visiting Shrewd'm with a laptop, it can be pleasant to hold Command (or Ctrl with Windows) and '+' a few times. The site scales to allow any font size, and the larger font can be pleasant to read even for Shrewds with perfect sight! For luxury Shrewdness, you can combine that with setting the browser to full screen. You'll then find yourself Shrewding a lot.

The word you want is “hyperbole”, and it refers to the people who to this day wear masks all day even while driving and rush out to get their 6th COVID booster.

Don't know about driving but what CommonOne said makes sense.

I have to say I tried to explain why masks are a good thing during Covid to my Republican friends, but they just didn't get it. Maybe because they are Christian and things are black and white, never grey. I tried explaining the math, that even with cloth masks, roughly 50% of the droplets are stopped so it's less viral load, which helps your body fight it better and so on. I might as well be talking my first language which is not English, because they looked at me like I was a pinko liberal Commie anti-American anti-free-speech.
Science doesn't care and neither does reality. It will kill you cheerfully if you don't believe it.
