Best thing Trump could do for the country would be to find a way to make them states. Of course, he might regret it after the fact but don't anyone tell him that.

Wouldn't work that way. Canada's libs are just like America's libs: they all live along the coasts and sneer at the flyover parts of the interior. Oh, and everyone not from Montreal hates Quebec (which wouldn't join anyway).

We'd admit Canadian provinces as states. You wouldn't like for 1 second how everybody other than Ontario and British Columbia would vote.
