Representative Mark Pocan (D-WI) announced he would introduce the ELON MUSK Act—the Eliminate Looting of Our Nation by Mitigating Unethical State Kleptocracy Act—which would ban federal contracts for Special Government Employees, similar to the bans for members of Congress and other federal employees.

While the name of the act is clever, I feel this is all just si much pissing into the maelstrom. - g01

It is a clever name. However I think it is more than just pissing. It fits a pattern, call it a strategy, by the democrats to focus attention on the credentials of DOGE or spinning up fears that the collapse of our financial system is somehow the true goal of Trump and DOGE.

I see it as the dem strategy is working, and working pretty well - for now anyway, because they are not discussing or defending the questionable underlying payments that have been uncovered. I trust the voters are taking notice of dems ducking on these issues, issues that are very much common sense to main street voters. 2024 showed us they are pretty reliable at figuring out what's up.
