I would like all the Trump supporters on this message board to please go on the record as either supporting Trump or not. And if you support him, how do you feel about his anti-democratic intentions? Do you feel like it's time to give up on democracy? True, unless things really go to hell, it's unlikely he could do all the awful things he wants to do, but still...he WANTS to do those things.
In a Time Magazine interview published today, Eric Cortellessa reports that if he becomes president again (God Forbid), Sleepy Don -- yes, he fell asleep in court again today -- is fine with women having their pregnancies monitored by the state and for any women who violate abortion bans to be prosecuted.
Trump also said he would build detention camps and deploy the military on America's streets.
He said he would deploy the the National Guard -- and possibly federal troops -- to deport 11 million immigrants. [Man, that's gonna' take a lot of airplanes.] National Guard troops from cooperative states would be deployed to "unfriendly" states to assist with deportations.
Trump would approve Justice Department grants only to cities that adopt his preferred policing methods, like stop-and-frisk.
He said if he is not granted full immunity by the supreme court, president Biden “will be prosecuted for all of his crimes.”
Trump suggested he would withdraw our troops from South Korea.
He said that the data collected by state and local police departments demonstrating that violent crime is declining are rigged. “It’s a lie,” he says.
He also refused to rule out the possibility of political violence around the election.
“If we don’t win, you know, it depends.”
