Nothing against the delta smelt but the needs of the people should prevail.

The people of California elected Newsom. If the people of California don't like what he's doing, they can recall him or vote him out of office. We don't need the federal government telling us what choices we should make, when those choices do not violate either Federal or CA law. We get to prioritize smelt wherever the hell we want to prioritize them.

In short, butt out, Trump. It's none of your damn business.

PS. That's terrible sentence construction, there. Terrible. Pretty much a crime against words, if you ask me. But it's late at night and I'm too tired to rewrite it. F#$K it. Release all of the sentences to be free and offend grammarians everywhere. ;-)
