The unshakable faith that the MAGA crowd has in their utterly corrupt and criminal leader is astounding. How can one not see it as a cult?
I'm 76 years old. Never in my life could I have imagined such a bizarre dismantling of our Republic at the hands of a failed business man and half-assed TV celebrity. It really does seem like a nightmare one cannot wake up from.
But that is at least part of the appeal to Trumpers: blind, stupid hatred of, and revenge on, bogeymen that they've been brainwashed into believing are hurting them.
