The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

A poster on the social media website "Nextdoor" posted some election information, then segued into a lengthy rant against vote by mail, voter ID, blah blah blah.

Nextdoor deleted the post,I assume because their rules state that while local politics are fair game, national political issues are not.

The next morning that poster posted a complaint on Nextdoor, claiming her 1st Amendment rights to free speech were being violated.

That too was deleted by Nextdoor, but not before 2 other MAGA types responded in defense of her belief that her 'Freedom of Speech' rights were being trampled.

Today, one of those sympathizers posted seeking support for a class action suit against "Nextdoor."

"Nextdoor" is a substantial business with, I would imagine, rules that were written and reviewed by competent counsel so that they can delete content that does runs afoul of their rules.

This issue probably disappears on its own, but if these malcontents filed a lawsuit, couldn't Nextdoor file a substantial counter suit?
