SCOTUS dissent implies that the Executive can overrule Congress, contrary to the Constitution. Alito is a moron.
TROs are not appealable, but it was allowed anyway. One justice would have swung the vote into catastrophe (from a Constitutional standpoint). As it stands, we barely dodged a bullet.

So far the Administration has ignored the order, and it remains to be seen if they comply by the deadline
today. I'm betting they won't. And -as I've asked albaby before-, who's gonna enforce it if they refuse to comply? A simple solution would be to remove the exemption of incarceration for POTUS. If he defies a federal order, he goes to jail for contempt until he complies. Never happen, of course.
