The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Sure, and then release them with a slap on the hand by the liberal judges, etc, same done with illegal aliens.

Cry me a river. We have laws in this country, and those laws need to be followed. If you don't like the sentences handed down for drug activity, convince your representatives in government to increase the jail sentences for those crimes. But the government still doesn't get to be judge, jury, and executioner just because the alleged criminals are caught at sea.

Sorry, there’s a new Sheriff in town and he is rounding up the bad guys.

Actually, he's not. He let over 1000 bad guys - duly charged and convicted of their crimes - out of jail on his first day in office. And he continues to let some out now and then. That's not rounding up the bad guys. That's letting them run free. A few of them have re-proven their criminality by getting charged with new crimes. Crimes that would not have been committed if they were still in prison where criminals belong.

I'm sure you'll now attempt to bring some "alternative facts" to the table. Feel free, but they're still lies that fly in the face of reality.

PS - The "sheriff" is himself a convicted felon. Don't try to whitewash that one. That's a fact you can't run away from.

PPS - He's also very likely a pedophile. He could release the Epstein files to help prove he's not. But I suspect he won't. He's too chicken to do that. Or too guilty.
