A "German national" is not necessarily illegal. And they didn't get their guns from Canada (not allowed there).

At the time, Bauckholt appeared to have an expired visa, according to a Department of Homeland Security database, but investigators later confirmed that his visa was current, the FBI said.

It was an immigration stop. Visa was current. They were just some thugs with guns.

Took me about 15 seconds to verify this. Are you watching Faux Noise and OANN again? If you're going to persist, at least subscribe to Ground News which will show you (or anyone) what holes ("blind spots") they have in the media they consume.
