the release of the new claude coding tool has prompted an interweb debate on which large public software companies will perish.

the technocrats claim the death of the UI and (proprietary) compute layer, leaving those that can monetize APIs and private data stores.
the generalists claim inertia, compliance, support, and business risk minimization will allow more than enough time for ERP-types to adapt.

any small-team coders want to comment? (manlobbi?)
