Have you read the Bible? Start with Leviticus.
Well, if going back to the bible and violence, you can hardly throw a stone and not hit a book that doesn't have a bunch, even in Psalms. You can start with Genesis and the flood. The victims there aren't limited to the people responsible for the "corruption." The narrative includes children, animals, and apparently humanity as a whole. That's just for starters.
How about genocide? Take 1 Samuel and the ordering the death of ALL Alamekites.
In Deuteronomy, God gives Israel instructions for warfare against the inhabitants of several Canaanite cities: “Do not leave alive anything that breathes.”
And on and on and on...
