Not quite as snappy as the Bolt, but far more comfortable. Cheaper models did not have heated seats. You need those when you turn the heater off due to range anxiety

Yeah, our other car is a Bolt EV that we practically stole a few years ago: it was one reacquired by GM due to the battery problem, so it was tagged with that on the title, affecting its sales price on the used market as that tag causes worries of it being a lemon, even though every older Bolt had the same problem and had their battery replaced. Bonus for buying it reacquired: full new battery warranty plus a 1 year warranty on the whole car. After the $4500 tax credit I payed $11,500 for a like new Premium Bolt with 27k miles!

I love that car: it drives like a sports car, pretty comfortable (except over rough roads especially at lower speeds), economical, etc ... and I would have gotten another, but I wanted a bigger car for hauling stuff, vacations etc ... Agree 100% on the better comfort, plus the greater range and faster charging make the Equinox EV a reasonable choice for a long trip while the Bolt is better as a regional car.

I was reluctantly willing to buy a base model Equinox EV without heated seats, though I agree that's an important option for EVs. I had my eye on on a base model that I would have only had to put in $22,500 to purchase, and at that price I was going to do it, but those sold out real quick before I could act.
