Prosecutor Leo Wise pointed to the Biden family who attended Hunter Biden’s trial and said that while jurors may recognize them, none of that matters. But it did matter; it mattered to the prosecutors. Because the prosecutors wouldn’t have charged this gun case if Hunter Biden wasn’t the President’s son.

I was a federal prosecutor in SDNY’s violent crimes unit and then I oversaw that unit as a deputy chief of SDNY’s criminal division. I have prosecuted and supervised many gun cases and in 12 years, I never saw anyone charged solely for lying about their drug use to buy a gun. Much less a first-time offender with no criminal history who had the gun for 11 days and never used it.

Hunter Biden was treated worse than anyone else would be by these Special Counsel prosecutors because he’s the President’s son. That’s not justice.
