“The analyst assigns a target price of $480, assuming a 23x multiple of 2024 operating EPS forecast. Berkshire shares are currently trading at 21x Argus's 2024 operating EPS estimate, and the S&P 500 is trading at a 24x multiple.

Argus's Buy rating on Berkshire (BRK.B) compares with the SA Quant rating of Strong Buy and the average Wall Street rating of Buy. By contrast, the average SA Analyst rating is more cautious at Hold.”
