What's left?
* Once a month, somewhere near the end of the month, rank the Nasdaq 100 stocks by the 12 month momentum (either straight RS or price/(52wk HI + 52wk LO).
* Sell the ones that have fallen out of the top N.
* Use that money to buy equal shares of the ones that you don't have.
* But first, check the timing rule, (ETF: ONEQ) > ONEQ's 12 month SMA. If it says to get OUT, sell everything and switch to a short-term T-bill ETF.So near end of month:
1) Check 12 month SMA on ONEQ and verify ONEQ's price is above it's SMA. Looks good.
2) Go to
barchart.com: Nasdaq 100 Index ETF Components and own the top 5 or N and only the top N (sell the ones from last month). So, today the top 5 would be: SNDK, WDC, MU, LITE, STX
It's that simple?
Curious as to what percent of your portfolio or net worth people would do this with?
