In an extraordinary moment, Vance delivered a pointed warning to the Israelis — especially to members of Netanyahu’s cabinet who are attacking Trump. He told them that Trump was their last strong ally remaining in the world. And he reminded Israel that two-thirds of the missiles shot down over Israel were eliminated by weapons produced by America.
“Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time, and he happens to be the head of state of the world’s superpower,” he said.
Three things I have zero compassion for:
1) Vance just lost the Orthodox Jewish vote and money forever (those guys have loooooong memories), and
2) Someone should tell Bibi that when you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas, and
3) I told folks here that Trump would sell out Israel in a heartbeat (see Scorpion and the Frog). Done and done.
