Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles said the country was 'not about to make common cause with China'

Hmmm. Maybe the rest of the world can figure it out.

"We’re not about to make common cause with China," Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles told Sky News on Wednesday. "We are not going to be holding hands with China in respect of any contest that is going on in the world."

And yes, he also complained about the 10% tariff, as he should, as it was dumb to put them on AUS in the first place.
