Serious question. If Maddow gave team Biden 15 questions two weeks in advance, and Joe was given all the answers, do you believe Joe could do a one hour Q and A with her and recite the answers, no Q cards? I'm not poking fun, I'm asking a serious question, thank you.
I think Joe would do at least as well, and probably better, than Trump in that scenario (giving Trump a similarly "home field" interlocutor like a Hannity).
Neither is likely to be especially sharp at it. They're both getting on in years. Both have shown a tendency towards malapropism in their public speaking in the current campaign.
But both of them are still capable of sitting down and doing a long-form televised interview. I believe their last ones were Trump's September Meet the Press interview, while Biden did 60 Minutes in October. Both those interviews were.....fine.
