I wouldn't have invited us, either.

Perun laid this out quite well in the video I linked yesterday. MAGA seems to think we're just giving stuff out of the goodness of our hearts. Which is absurd. We get a lot in return (e.g. stable trade, support in wars that weren't theirs -e.g. Iraq-, greater influence on events, partners in opposing autocracy -e.g. sanctions-, and more). If we didn't, we wouldn't do it.

America is the big loser in this. From jobs (defense industry is a major employer), to alliances, to our position as a world leader. All gone. I wouldn't be surprised if we were excluded from the G7, too. I wouldn't invite us. Not as long as the Felon is in office, and not even after that unless US policies change.
