Ok, it turns out that you CAN read the article in its entirety for free on a PC. But after skimming it, it's not worth bothering with. The gist of it is this:

The pattern here is clear.
Donald Trump is either going to kill his political enemies or get others to do it. And he’s so sure that the latter path is at once the easier and more likely one that he’s now engaged in a daily effort to “pre-but” allegations that he solicited an assassination.
Someone like Taranto is going to do something horrible—something even worse than the recent political assassinations of Minnesota Democratic politicians Trump first sociopathically ignored and then lied about. And when they do, they’ll do it because Trump solicited them to do it over social media knowing that outcome would result.
We must wait not a single additional day to say that this places Trump at the center of a ring of Attempted Assassination plots. The Taranto Plot targeting Barack Obama—who Trump hates because President Obama is Black and an exponentially better man—just happens to be the solicitation and cover-up we know about. That there are many others is certain, but since they haven’t been uncovered yet, the Taranto Plot should have become major international news—rather than been buried inside a single CNN report.
