In short, Godwin’s rule doesn’t apply to these fascists.

When talking about true fascism, I agree the rule doesn't apply at all. Because you're really talking about fascists. I think the left may have been parabolic in the past. So now that we have actual fascists asserting real power in this country, people brush off the "fascist" talk as "there they go again". Boy who cried wolf, and all that.

Well..."WOLF! There's a WOLF!!" (In fact, a bunch of them. And they're coming for rule of law and our freedoms.)
