The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

What anointed this creep a world expert in anything related to human health?
His mental capabilities, his brilliant mind, together with his network of experts.

Having not heard from you since a long time, I humbly want to say something else: Charlie, it seems you were absolutely right all the time.

Regarding Bill Gates and Epstein, regarding Melinda Gates and the reasons for divorce etc. With Bill finally admitting mistakes, comments from Melinda, Warren´s actions, incriminating photos and other material the evidence now is overwhelming that yes, you were right. Not regarding damage to Warren´s and Berkshire´s reputation, but definitely regarding Bill Gates himself.

For a long time I ignored all of that, as "Innocent until proven guilty" for me is an absolute imperative. Plus a little tendency to refuse to believe such, as for me Gates with his foundation is a hero, is one of humankinds great benefactors, making it difficult to separate work and (apparently weaker than I thought) person.

Plus, as you surely know, you are standing yourself in the way, expressing your thoughts and opinions in a way that makes people immediatedly turn away instead of listening.

But you were right all the time. I hope after all that being ignored you had to experience, saying so publicly gives you a bit of satisfaction.
