In a related vein, and I have no data to back up what I say here- at this point it’s just a feeling and a perception-
But I’m beginning to believe that normal data tracking, forecasting and reporting functions at NOAA are beginning to degrade. We know they’ve also suffered “the touch of Elon”, but little lags in weather apps are starting to show up; tornado warnings without accompanying specificity, here and there- forecasts missing- little things, as I said, but troubling. Doesn’t bode well for the coming storm and hurricane season.
