I remember the TV channel losing its license. And the persecution of opposition leaders.

But Duterte is in the Hague now. According to this article, Bong Bong was instrumental. Though it looked like it was more personal than just "obligation under the law".

Marcos initially refused to co-operate with the ICC investigation, but as his relationship with the Duterte family deteriorated, he changed his stance.

Vice-President Duterte said her father's arrest amounted to "kidnapping", claiming it violated Philippine sovereignty. She left Manila for the Netherlands on Wednesday, according to her office.

I wish more governments would do this. We should have handed-over Kissinger, for example, instead of protecting him. It remains to be seen if the Felon does anything to warrant ICC charges, but if he did I would hand him over in a heart beat. (Part of my "no one is above the law" stance. I would also hand over Biden if he was charged. I'm not partisan about this.)
