Thankfully, over the years you have pointed out a couple of interesting strategies involving buying stock groupings based on various criteria. I seem to recall one or two strategies involving buying stocks with some sort of Value Line ranking criteria. My thinking it was a basket of 30 stocks that are changed every month (or is it every quarter) according to a particular Value Line ranking criteria you named.

I may have all of this recollection completely wrong. I do recall an issue many respondents made to this investment process was related to the paying of short term income taxes. The reason this is being asked is that while my long-term buy and hold process has done well over the years, I'm now looking to put some side money to work and it would be interesting to have this as an additional portfolio strategy running parallel to our larger buy and hold assets.

Anything you can lay out for us is appreciated.
