The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Coca-Cola was rather quiet after Mad King Donald the Pedophile tried to shift public attention off of the Jeffrey Epstein files by announcing that the soda-maker would switch from corn syrup to can sugar.

Coca-Cola eventually issued a statement of sorts, simply responding: "All Coca-Cola brand products are wholesome beverages manufactured in compliance with the federal law."
They then went on to say: "The name sounds complex, but high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) —which we use to sweeten some of our beverages—is actually just a sweetener made from corn. It's safe; it has about the same number of calories per serving as table sugar and is metabolized in a similar way by your body.

"The American Medical Association has confirmed that HFCS is no more likely to contribute to obesity than table sugar or other full-calorie sweeteners. Please be assured that Coca-Cola brand soft drinks do not contain any harmful substances.

"All Coca-Cola brand products are wholesome beverages manufactured in compliance with the federal law governing food safety and labeling, the laws of all the states, and the laws of over 200 countries throughout the world where they are sold."

Not exactly a confirmation of Mad King Donald's claim but the media took the bait because the media are morons.

But either way, Donald Trump is still a pedophile.
