"The White House is narrowing its approach to tariffs set to take effect on April 2, likely omitting a set of industry-specific tariffs while applying reciprocal levies on a targeted set of nations that account for the bulk of foreign trade with the U.S."
Gonna be interesting to see how Trump spins this as a "great victory", all due to his
extraordinary genius at business.
But the main reason for his tariff push is to state that the money collected on tariffs
will equalize the tax cuts for the wealthy, without adding to the deficit. Anybody that can
add knows this is a total crack-pipe-dream, but we can be sure he'll do it.
Just remember, when prices go up on goods that are tariff-targeted, tariffs do not affect the
American consumer, lol.
Spin it, MAGA, spin it.
