You need to stop being so peformatively outraged and offended at every unsourced anonymous piece of gossip, rumor and innuendo you see in the NY Times or Atlantic or WaPo or your social media feed.

Don't you understand that you're not in control of your emotions, and it's deliberately being imposed on you to generate engagement?

Wise up already.

Just because the NY Times or facebook or whatever posts some anonymous unsourced rumor doesn't mean anything except that the NY Times wants to get folks like you upset.

My first question (assuming we're talking about the Powell rumor) would be: What's the source for this rumor? How does the NY Times know? 2nd question would be: What aspect of his testimony before Congress is believed to be untrue?

The third question is for you though--do you think the Fed Chair should be immune from investigation and oversight?

Jerome's a big boy. If he didn't lie to Congress he's got nothing to worry about. Assuming someone is actually investigating him, which is completely unconfirmed.
