During her redemption tour on the Sunday morning news and politics programs today, governor Kristi Noem was asked about a passage in her book where she appears to want to kill president Biden's dog, Commander:

But in her book, she also nodded to the idea that Cricket may be in a better place, or perhaps a worse one. Imagining becoming president in 2025 and sending Mr. Biden’s dog to meet his maker, Ms. Noem added: “Commander, say hello to Cricket for me.”

Of course, since Cricket is dead the only way for Commander to "meet" Cricket is for Commander to be dead.

Thank you, governor, for providing us with today's installment of "Republicans are Idiots."

BTW, Commander has a better shot at being Trump's running mate than Noem.
