Where is there any communism? Marxist communism is stateless, classless and has never existed. Some people point to the short period of time in the Soviet Union when there was no private ownership of property as Communism, and when they allowed some ownership of private property as Socialism. Every "Socialist" dictator has their own version of socialism, but there are plenty more versions of it. There are some countries that call themselves communist, but they aren't, and everyone one of them seems to break down into some type of totalitarian state. Touring Vietnam I got to see the old hammer and sickle in the downtown areas. It was not fun to hear, "every morning the Vietcong wake up go kill Americans" as pert of the tour for the underground tunnel system.
I don't agree with them (DS) and the ideology, but they are welcome to the Democratic party and to influence the ultimate platform and direction we take. The majority of Democrats are centrist and they'll have to take us into account at the convention. I admire the social democracies in Europe. Trump laments there aren't more Norwegians migrating to the US. Why would they? They have it better in Norway, so there's no incentive.
So the right is now being ordered to brand us all as Marxist godless Muslim communists who want to take over the US and install Sharia law.
