Honestly. I just watched one of the people on GW Bush’s economic team (interviewed on BBC World News) and her answer was (words to the effect, I didn’t transcribe) “How could a a business possibly invest in this environment? You have no idea if your markets are going to evaporate overnight or what your pricing might be and whether you could possibly be profitable?”

Seriously, it’s like a four-year-old just got hold of a joystick for the first time and he’s entranced watching the little dot on the screen go up and down, up and down, side to side and back and forth again.

Somebody get him a bottle of Ritalin, stat.
