if this really riles people up, here are some points to consider :

- NPR is among many media groups that undersold the dangers of MAGA conservatism in 2016 and 2020. is it possible some of these groups are trying to avoid the same in 2024 and lean bias further? not an excuse, just an observation.

- Without more research, i am willing to give Uri the benefit-of-doubt on his perspective of NPR. he fails to mention that almost all conventional radio\news groups have also suffered similar declines in attention and trust metrics, regardless of their bent. pretty big omission for a seasoned journalist.

- Where i have no doubt are the motivations of 'the free press' platform. i assume due to bari weiss (in no way a journalist), they rightly changed their name from 'common sense'.
bari weiss is an unapologetic propagandist for Israel, especially in military actions and ambitions, and now war crimes (where i opine the u.s. is complicit, and thus forced to to defend israel for its own regards)
NPR, being no friend of Israel in this regard, seems a easy target for bari.
