I am a Native New Yorker, born and raised in the heart of Manhattan, edukated in the Black Board Jungle schools. I know NYC, and of course NYC being a liberal concave will speak well of Mayor Adams and water down the true facts.
Just so you know, LM......I was born in Virginia, but have lived in NYC since I was 1 year old. Raised 2 kids here. Been involved in community organizations that successfully cleaned up Washington Square Park and made the playgrounds safe. Also formed a block association for the block I lived on then (between the Park and 6th Ave) to cope (successfully) with several problems, including the violent, acting-out lesbian clientele that patronized a particular bar on my street. We eventually worked successfully with the police with this and with the Park issues......once we found ways to overcome their preference to ignore the problems.
As for my views of Eric Adams.....I did not vote for him in the primary, and only voted for him in the general election because he was the best of the worst. I think he's a lot better than diBlasio....but that doesn't take much.
So every time you and commonone come up with the same nonsense I just laugh and know,
'gotcha', pushed your button with the truth.
With "the truth"? Hah! You should only know.
